Submitting on behalf of others
You may be able to submit on behalf of others if you are nominated to do so. You can request access to an existing recorded person entry that had been created by someone else, or you can request to create an entry on behalf of someone else.
Accessing an entry created for you
You can request access to an entry created for you by someone else, for example an appointed agent.
What to do when land enters the land register after RCI registration has taken place
There will be circumstances where at the time of the initial submission of an entry to the RCI the subjects are not in the land register and therefore a postal address or description has been used to describe the land. However subsequently the land enters the land register. This is most likely to be through first registration or voluntary registration. An update to the land register will not automatically update the RCI. In these situations the initial entry must be removed by the recorded person and replaced with an entry using the title number as the land details. This is because the RCI Regulations specify that where land is registered in the land register, the title number of the land must be provided.
